About
Federal Productions is a team of almost one whole person working to bring stunningly unimpressive media and programming works to the general Internet public.
Founded in 1988 as MutantWare, Ink. – Federal Productions now boasts 2 entire computers to help in the production of trailing edge software and graphics!
More seriously, this is where I show off my stuff. Little bits and pieces of creativity that are the result of my ever changing hobbies and interests.
Recently I’ve actually stumbled upon some of my old internet acquaintances, folks I knew from online gaming and so forth, so I thought I’d give a run down of my various aliases from over the years. Maybe that way I can ‘hear’ from a few more old friends? Who knows?
- That Bastard – Jedi Knight
- Polaris – Beast Wars
- JoyCrusher – Action Quake, Counterstrike, Global Ops
- Yorokobi (Assaiki) – Various
- Volke Henthar – Battle Tech: Solaris (on AOL)
Some explanation – “That Bastard” would make Jedi Knight print humorous lines upon my frequent death, lines like “That Bastard has become more powerful then you can imagine” or “That Bastard has become one with the Force”. What can I say, I’m easily amused.
Yorokobi Assaiki is just a “Japanification” of JoyCrusher, although speaking to someone who is Japanese I learned that it means “Happy Grinder” which I guess is kind of the same thing.
Oh, and the name, “Federal Productions”, I can thank my mom for that one. I was a bit of a dawdler as a kid, and I can recall many times she accused me of turning the most mundane chore into a “Federal Production”…
